Privacy and cookies
Here's what information we collect on tmmedia.fi, what we use it for and what choices you have.
Who is responsible?
TM Media (Thomasson Media, business ID 3337700-7, Myllykalliontie 6 B 22, 00200 Helsinki, Finland) is responsible for your personal data. Felix Thomasson answers any questions about it: felix.thomasson@tmmedia.info, +358 44 016 2112.
When you contact us
When you send the contact form or a quote request from the price calculator, we receive what you fill in: name, company, email address, phone number and your message, plus the options you chose in the price calculator.
We use the information to reply to you and prepare a quote. It is not sold and not used for mailings you haven't asked for.
The form is sent through Cloudflare and delivered to our email by Resend. Both process the information on our behalf.
The legal basis is our legitimate interest in answering inquiries and, for quotes, steps taken before entering into a contract. If you don't provide the information, we can't reply to you.
We keep inquiries as long as we need them to reply and follow up, and delete them no later than two years after the last contact unless you become a client. If you become a client, the information is kept during our cooperation and as long as the Finnish Accounting Act requires.
Cookies and measurement
The site works without cookies. If you accept in the box shown on your first visit, we load:
- The Meta pixel (Facebook and Instagram), which sets cookies to measure how our advertising performs and to show ads to the right people.
- Google Analytics, which sets cookies to count visits and see which pages are used. Google processes the data on our behalf; the IP address is not stored. The cookies last 13 months.
If you decline, none of this is loaded. Your choice is saved in your browser, not with us, and lasts twelve months – then we ask again.
The legal basis is your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the button below. Meta's cookie lasts 90 days. Meta is jointly responsible with us for the collection through the pixel and solely responsible for how the data is used afterwards, see Meta's Privacy Policy.
Videos from YouTube
The customer reviews and some examples are videos from YouTube. They're only loaded when you tap a video, and then in YouTube's cookie-free mode (youtube-nocookie.com). YouTube (Google) then receives your IP address, and the player may store some technical data in your browser (local storage), such as caption settings.
The numbers on the site
The statistics about our clients' accounts are fetched from our own function at Cloudflare. They contain no information about you as a visitor. The most recently fetched statistics and the Top 10 list are stored in your browser (localStorage) so the page can show the numbers right away next time. Stored numbers are used for at most seven days and contain no information about you.
Hosting
The site and our functions run on Cloudflare. When you visit the site, Cloudflare processes your IP address and technical details about the request on our behalf, to deliver the site and protect it from abuse. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the site working and secure. The data is only kept in Cloudflare's technical logs.
Transfers outside the EU
Cloudflare, Resend, Meta and Google may process data in the United States. The transfer is based on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You have the right to know what information we have about you and get a copy, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its processing, object to it and receive the information you provided yourself in a machine-readable format. We make no automated decisions about you. Contact us at the address above. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can turn to the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman.
